Referrals
How to Make a ReferralReign of Mind Psychology accepts referrals for children, adolescents, adults, and families.
Referrals are welcome from:
General Practitioners
Paediatricians and medical specialists
Allied health professionals
Schools and educational settings
Self-referrals (clients or parents/carers)
A GP referral is required if clients wish to access Medicare rebates under a Mental Health Treatment Plan.
Medicare Referrals (MHCP)Clients with a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) and GP referral may be eligible for Medicare rebates.
Referrals can be addressed to Reign of Mind Psychology
Referrals must be current at the time of the appointment
Medicare rebates are subject to Medicare Australia rules and annual limits
Please refer to the Fees page for rebate details.
Private ReferralsSelf-referrals are welcome. A referral is not required unless accessing Medicare rebates under a Mental Health Treatment Plan.
Parents and caregivers are welcome to enquire directly regarding services for children and adolescents.
NDIS ReferralsNDIS-funded sessions may be available for self-managed or plan-managed participants.
Reign of Mind Psychology is not a registered NDIS provider. Referrals should include:
Confirmation of self-managed or plan-managed status
Relevant background information and goals (where available)
NDIS services are provided in line with current NDIS Pricing Arrangements.
How to Book an Appointment
Appointments can be booked in the following ways:
Appointments are available via telehealth, with face-to-face sessions available subject to availability.
If you are unsure which service is the best fit, you are welcome to make contact to discuss your needs before booking.
Referrers are welcome to include any relevant background information to assist with assessment and planning. Updates can be provided with client consent, where appropriate.
For Referrers
With client (or parent/guardian) consent, collaboration with other professionals such as GPs, schools, and allied health providers may occur to support coordinated care.
Consent to communicate with other professionals is discussed and documented prior to information sharing.
