Session Fees

Standard fee
$230 per 50-minute session

Sessions are 50 minutes in duration and tailored to individual needs, developmental stage, and context. Therapy is provided within an ethical, evidence-based framework and informed by individual assessment.

Payment is required on the day of your appointment. Secure card details are stored via encrypted payment processing and may be used to process session fees and applicable cancellation fees


Reduced Fees

A limited number of reduced-fee appointments may be available in certain circumstances. Please feel free to discuss this if cost is a barrier to accessing support. Availability is limited and subject to review.


Medicare

If you have a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) from your GP, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate.

  • Medicare rebate: $96.65 per session

  • Rebates are processed after full payment is made

  • A GP referral is required and must be current

  • Medicare rebates are subject to Medicare Australia rules and annual limits

Please note that Medicare rebates are not available for missed or late-cancelled appointments.


NDIS

NDIS-funded sessions may be available for self-managed or plan-managed participants. Fees are charged in line with the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits.

Reign of Mind Psychology is not a registered NDIS provider.


Private Health Insurance

Some private health insurers offer rebates for psychological therapy. Rebates vary depending on your level of cover and insurer. Please check directly with your health fund for details.


Cancellations

To ensure fairness and availability, at least 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or changes to appointments.

  • Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, may incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the session fee.

  • For NDIS-funded sessions, cancellations and non-attendance are managed in line with NDIS cancellation guidelines, and the full session fee may be charged, where applicable.

Discretion may be applied in exceptional circumstances.
